About Me

I learned to sew as a little girl on my nana's old Singer Sewing machine. She sewed clothes for my mom, aunt and uncle on it when they were little children. I have a closet full of dresses that my mom made for me as a little girl on that same sewing machine. I have not been able to part with them. Today, that same machine sits proudly in my sewing studio. She has gone from being a sewing work horse to a treasured part of my memories from childhood.  Although she does not get used much these days, she still runs smoothly.

I began sewing again just before my oldest granddaughter was born.  I wanted to make her a quilt that she could use and pass down to her children one day.  Since them I have made numerous quilts for family, friends and customers.

Quilts warm my heart and make me SEW HAPPY! I like to think of quilting as a labour of love.  They are to be used - to provide warmth and comfort and to be treasured and passed down through the generations. I take pride in offering quality quilting services in a timely manner and am honoured to help complete your treasures.
